About Our School
Foothill Middle School's experienced staff serves students in grades 6-8. We provide a well-rounded academic program which includes the core areas (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Science, and Physical Education) as well as language arts and math intervention programs to support mastery of the common core standards. In addition, our Visual and Performing Arts department offers Art, Band, General Music, Hand Bells, and Choir. Students in 7th and 8th grade have the opportunity to participate in Leadership, Journalism, AVID, and intramural sports.
Our Honors Option program allows all students the opportunity to explore advanced studies in core academic areas. The Advanced Placement Bridge Academy links Foothill and Azusa High School by preparing students for the rigors of Advanced Placement courses and providing them with the opportunity to take advanced math and world language classes at the high school during their 8th grade year.
We create a safe and caring learning environment for all students where they develop the emotional and intellectual skills to be successful in high school as well as be life-long learners. We welcome parents and community to be an active part of the Foothill School community.
