About Our School
Lawrence Cook Middle School is a community-based school that is home to over 400 7th & 8th graders that come to us from various elementary schools in different districts in the surrounding area. The school’s physical plant boasts three wings of buildings and additional structures to house our students, provide space for science laboratories, special elective programs, other special programs and a host of community partnership programs and services. We partner with CAP Sonoma and Via Esperanza to provide early childhood experiences and other supports for our local community’s families.
Meanwhile, we have partnered with Sonoma State University and Humanidad to provide a whole child focus on our campus.
Our facilities include a full-sized basketball gymnasium, a music and drama facility, arts and crafts facilities and computer labs. The grounds at Lawrence Cook Middle School offer a full community park, complete with a baseball field, softball field, soccer fields and a track. These grounds facilities are used by the school and the community alike.
